It’s been quite the busy semester for me up here in quaint bum-fuck Reno. I’ve been preoccupied with teaching my first semester of Chinese at the university and trying to keep up with my own master’s degree. Of course, this hasn’t kept me from drinking tea, nor exploring the deep sea of information out there about pu’er tea, but has in many ways halted my progression of contributions to the Dead Leaves Club.
To be perfectly honest, it is often difficult for me to decide what information is worthy of putting up on this blog. Often I find posting my own opinion often seems too large a test for my thin-skinned nature. I have not felt the urge to translate most of the information I have found recently, either. Often it seems more fitting to leave interesting findings to more respected voices in the community, or at least those with at least an interesting voice to contribute. I’ve limited myself to my own simple finds and helping when needed with communication on group buys. More and more I’ve been leisurely taking my time to enjoy the ineffable qualities of tea. This has pushed me a little further away from discussion at times…but I trust I’ll get back to it at some point
I suppose that’s all I have for today. More updates to come as time permits. I hope folks are enjoying the blog so far. Thank you all for the time and consideration.

more experiments would be cool! storage stuff, or “does teaware really make a difference”, that sort of idea.
