Same deal as before. If you don’t know the drill, read this. For those who’ve been involved in past buys, be aware that I’m asking for shipping upfront now so I don’t have to chase people up for it.
The buy is most-likely full already, but if you want to be placed on the “just in case” list, sign up here and wait for an email. I’ll be contacting people in the order they filled out the interest survey.
Cost will be 60USD per share, plus shipping from LA to you. International peeps, count on 9-16oz final package weight, though I’ll reduce packaging weight and get it to 8oz if I can.
The buy is limited to 7 participants plus me, with places offered in the order of response to the interest survey. Because of the low participant count, I will be paying 25-35USD for my “free” share.
Tea-list :
Assuming seven participants, 6 different versions of Bajiaoting Liming’s Bulangshan Qiaomu production. The factory is well-respected, the material looks decent, and this is a good opportunity to compare teas with (presumably) different storage intensities (moderate vs light) as well as to compare closely-spaced years with very different prices. Here are the candidates, in order of priority:
2004 Guangdong Vendor 1
2004 Kunming Vendor
2005 Guangdong Vendor 1
2006 Kunming Vendor
2006 Guangdong Vendor 2
2005 Kunming Vendor
Bear in mind that this (as with the 2007 Yaba Naka) is a more premium-focused buy – these productions are 200g and 55-100USD each, with one exception. Expect ~23g per tea, per share.
This has been some good tea
